Main description
This William IV grand scale English footstool dates to the mid 19th century, circa 1836–1846. The stool is raised on solid carved giltwood cabriole legs that sweep down into bold, prominent scrolled feet. The frame features a parcel-gilt finish that highlights the carving, and the pale mint green upholstery features deep buttons and remains in excellent condition.
