Early 19th Century Book Stand<br /> <br /> The solid rosewood gallery is made with spindle turnings below a rosewood bevelled moulding above a figured rosewood crossbanding. <br /> The second inner crossbanding is made in amboyna and frames a figured fruitwood veneer. <br /> The stand is finished with a coromandel edge above a baize lining to the underside. <br /> <br />
