Superb George III period 18th century Cuban mahogany tripod table.<br /> <br /> The circular table retains a great colour, patina and lustre. <br /> <br /> The table top sits on the original oak saddle and the bearers and brass catch are undisturbed to the underside. The top has always belonged to the base. <br /> <br /> The tilt-top table sits on a solid ring turned and carved gun-barrel pedestal above three crisply carved legs. The finely carved knees are raised on solid Cuban mahogany 'ball and claw' feet.<br />
