Tables

Antique tables are the centre of a room, and their utility is as important as their design.

My collection at Freshfords focuses on pieces that retain their original form and construction, whether intended for formal dining, serving, or as an occasional side table. I prioritise examples with stable timber and tight, period-correct joints, as a table surface reveals its history through centuries of use and careful maintenance.

Each item is chosen for the quality of the wood and the precision of the cabinet work; through sympathetic conservation, I ensure these tables remain ready for practical, daily use while retaining the deep patina that only time can produce.
