A rare George III period mahogany octagonal-shaped occasional table.
The faded flamed mahogany top is cross-banded in tulipwood and boxwood stringing and retains a great colour and patina. The tilt-top table sits on its original saddle and retains the original locking mechanism that keeps the table top locked down. The baluster shaped pedestal is rich in grain and colour with a ring-turned base that stands on three chamfered elegant legs and pointed pad feet.
