Early 19th century Regency period penwork tea caddy.

The caddy top is of an unusual tented shape. The floral decoration is worked onto a cream background, whilst the flat top is decorated with trees, houses and figures on a black background.

The tea caddy is decorated with figures, ships and foliage and flanked with canted corners with the interior retaining the original lids. The interior is penworked onto a cream background.
