The painted navette-shaped tea caddies are veneered in sycamore with painted borders, tied ribboned circular medallions to the upper lids, and the bodies have been beautifully painted with sprays of passion flowers all round.

The 'Navette' shaped tea caddies are naive in style but classical in design and are rare and most elegant as a pair.
