Regency period 19th century mahogany six drawer writing table in the manner of Gillows of London and Lancaster.
The leather lined top is covered with a black leather and broken gilt tooling with a crossbanded and thumb nail moulded edge. The frieze contains three oak lined drawers to both sides with fitted brass knobs and locks above a solid mahogany beading above four bold legs.
The writing table is raised on solid mahogany ring turned tapered reeded legs that terminate on the original gilt brass castors below inset moulded rounded corners.
