The George I walnut chest on chest retains an excellent colour and patina. The top has a cavetto moulded cornice and a concealed secret drawer, over three short and three long feather-banded oak lined drawers, fitted with later replaced handles. The concealed brushing slide to the waist moulding separates the bottom chest with two short over two long drawers. The sides have book-matched veneers with cross-banded edges and the chest on chest has vertical canted and reeded mouldings. It stands on its original shaped bracket feet.
