Chests

An antique chest is a foundational piece in any serious interior, offering a unique blend of utility and design.

My collection at Freshfords focuses on chests that retain their structural build and deep-toned patina. I carefully examine each piece for the “crispness” of its cabinet work, ensuring that drawers slide with the precision intended by the original maker.

Through meticulous and sympathetic conservation, I ensure every chest in the collection retains its historic character while offering the smooth, reliable functionality expected of a premier piece of period furniture.
