Cabinets

The cabinet is the ultimate expression of the master cabinetmaker’s skill, combining functional storage with decorative art.

At Freshfords, I source cabinets that offer more than mere storage; they provide a narrative of 18th and 19th-century domestic life. From imposing linen presses to delicate display cabinets, each piece is selected for its structural stability, the excellence of its timber, and the preservation of its original fittings.

My goal is to offer cabinets that have been preserved through considered, sympathetic conservation, ensuring they continue to serve their original purpose as masterfully crafted storage for the modern home.
