circa 1825 - 1835
Regency period English burr oak centre table.
The circular top retains a wonderful colour and patina. The butterfly book-matched veneer has not been repolished and the colour is a mellow golden burr.
The shallow frieze is veneered with a vertical burr oak and adorned with a reeded moulding.
The tilt top table sits on the original saddle above a burr oak veneered and tapered pedestal surmounted on a tightly carved moulding.
The outswept pedestal stands on a well figured burr oak triform plinth base, raised on integrated 'C' scrolled and reeded feet that terminate on the original gilt brass castors.
