The fitted dentil cornice with crisply carved garlands and semi elliptical bells sits above two fielded cupboard doors. The four corners that decorate the cockbeading are applied motifs that surmount the cross banded door frames and enhance the flamed mahogany panels. The linen press opens to reveal five graduated oak lined and mahogany fronted trays that are original to the press. The cupboard sits on a low waisted base that consists of two short and two long oak lined drawers that retain the original gilt brass handles, escutcheons and locks. The linen press stands on its original ogee bracket feet and retains the original door locks and escutcheons.
