Do you offer a shipping service?

How is delivery arranged, and will the drivers bring it inside the house?

Delivery is carefully arranged to suit the nature of the piece and the requirements of the client. We offer a professional white glove service subject to availability, which includes placement inside your home, available at an additional cost to the buyer.

Are all the pieces insured during transit?

Yes, all items are fully insured during transit to provide complete peace of mind from our warehouse to your door.

Who handles the import fees and taxes on international shipments?

Responsibility for import duties, local taxes, and customs clearance procedures for international shipments lies with the purchaser.

Do you offer Payment Plans?

Yes, we offer various payment solutions to assist with your purchase. Please contact our office directly to discuss the options available.

What is your return process?

If you wish to return an item, you must notify us by email at antiques@freshfords.com within 7 days of delivery. You are responsible for arranging and paying for the return transport and ensuring adequate insurance cover is in place. The item must be received by us in the same condition as when it was dispatched within 28 days of our return acceptance. Once received, the item will be fully inspected to ensure that it meets the same condition criteria as when it left our showroom. After this inspection is completed, your refund will be processed.

What currency are your pieces sold in?

All our pieces are listed and sold in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).

Can I view items in your showroom?

Yes, we operate from a purpose built showroom seven miles south of Bath. Viewing is strictly by appointment only; please contact us to arrange a convenient time.

Do you buy antique furniture and objet d'art?

Can I make an offer?

All pieces available in our online catalogue are ready for immediate use. They are genuine articles and have been strictly vetted by our team to ensure they meet our high standards, though we are happy to discuss any specific conservation needs.

What happens if a piece doesn't fit through my doorway on delivery?

We advise that you measure your access points thoroughly before purchase. Should an issue arise upon delivery, please notify the driver immediately, and our team will work with you to find a resolution.
