Early 19th century Georgian mahogany bowfront chest of drawers.

A highly figured mahogany top retains an old finish and possibly the original colour above a bowfront edge inlaid with a boxwood line. The detail is carried through to the figured sides.

The four full length graduated oak lined drawers with mahogany cockbeaded fronts retain the original brass locks and gilt cast brass handles.

The chest is well drawn with a desirable scale and is raised on elegant splayed bracket feet below a crossbanded mahogany veneered apron.
