18th century George II period mahogany linen press of elegant proportions.
The fitted cornice with a dentil block moulding above a bevelled moulding and a veneered frieze above two figured mahogany doors. The doors open to reveal the original four oak lined trays that slide out on channelled sides.
The low waisted linen press top sits on one long and two short drawers above ogee bracket feet. The gilt brass handles are correct for the period but they are not the original swan neck handles.
