Set of 14 early 19th century Regency period mahogany dining chairs.
The flamed mahogany panel is surmounted on a flat 'X' shaped centre back splat with scrolled ears and a reeded channel separated by two solid turned balls. The upturned section of the 'X' frame is supported on a bottom back rail that frames the chair back neatly.
The chair uprights are reeded and terminate on scrolled ends and carved roundels above recently upholstered stuff-over seats above a reeded and rounded mahogany edge.
The chairs stand on ring turned and tapered legs to the front and out swept legs to the rear.
