A set of 8 (6+2) George III period mahogany ladder-back dining chairs.
The set of eight carved mahogany dining chairs with saddle seats have recently been recovered in fine horse-hair upholstery. The ladder-back chairs have horizontal cross rails and are decorated with pierced interlacing centres and carved ears to the top rail. The carvers have elegant shaped out-swept arms and the chairs stand on block legs and 'H' stretchers.
