George III 18th century Sheraton satinwood inlaid secretaire dwarf bookcase.

The inlaid and crossbanded two-door bookcase above a secretaire chest is fitted with lozenge-shaped gilt-brass grills, glass panels and a mahogany fitted shelf. The breakfront bookcase sits above a concealed fitted satinwood secretaire drawer complete with a leather writing surface. Below there is a two door cupboard fitted with divisions to one side and a single fitted shelf to the other side.

The highly figured secretaire chest has West Indian satinwood veneers crossbanded with tulipwood, ebony stringing with faded mahogany lozenge-shaped inset panels and satinwood crossbandings. The secretaire breakfront bookcase is fitted with the original oval shaped gilt brass handles, and stands on the original satinwood inlaid feet.
