The tea caddy is profusely decorated with chinoiserie scenes surrounded by foliage. It has its original gilt-brass ring handles and cast back-plates with a cornucopia of flowers. The penwork is in good condition and of high quality. The tea caddy is missing the interior lids but the inside of the top lid is decorated with penwork. The caddy stands on original gilt brass paw feet.
